After a highly successful few years of delivery quality support to families and their children, we are taking the next step in making our children's ministry as exciting and effective as it can be. So starting in 2009 KidZone will be the hub of all things awesome for our 3 to 12 year olds. The curriculum will be the same, but the approach quite different, some of which is detailed below.
Riverside Christian Families' Sunday school is an amazing place for children to find out more about God in an environment of safety, fun, and innovation that comes with the skill and knowledge of our amazing team, and with the tools that they have to work with. And it's all free! It's our gift to your kids and also to you as you seek to complement what you teach your kids with some extra help & inspiration from this kids program.
FROM THE TOYBOX ------1st Term 2011!!!!!!!Product Description:TOYBOX reaches into the imaginations of kids and connects with toys that are part of their world. Using toys as modern day parables, the toybox now becomes a teaching landscape for your children to explore the incredible love of God. Memory Verse:I want all of you to live in peace. Be understanding. Love one another like members of the same family. Be kind and tender. Don't be proud. Don't pay back evil with evil. 1 Peter 3:8-9 (NIRV) 8 Week Description:Week 1&2: Yo-Yo The YO-YO lesson focuses on being safe in God’s hands and being aware of the ups and downs of life. Pulse: I am God's child. Week 3&4: Jigsaw The JIGSAW is about missing pieces. It is really hard to put a jigsaw puzzle together without the box lid picture to use as a guide. It’s similar with our lives. We need to look into the Word of God to see the image that we need to align with. Pulse: I am part of the family. Week 5&6: Building Blocks The BUILDING BLOCKS are an easy way to talk about connecting with each other. Pulse: I am connected to others. Week 7&8: Virtual Pet The VIRTUAL PET is perfect to discuss care. Just as we take care of our virtual pets, God takes amazing care of us. Pulse: I am cared for.
